Pop Up events are impromptu events offered on short notice that are initiated and led by members with the help of the hospitality team. The event must meet requirements and is publicized in the newsletter or through email notification to the entire membership.
With the goal of fostering and building community, pop up events serve as a venue to allow members to share their knowledge, interests, or passions with other members as their schedule allows and with minimal advance planning.
Pop Up events are open to all members and also serve as an outreach tool to welcome nonmembers. Initiated in early 2021, pop up events have only been virtual, but could also be in person events as soon as public health orders allow.

The hospitality team responded to Stay-At-Home orders by creating virtual birthday/holiday celebrations for members to stay connected on Zoom. We will be closing out virtual birthday/holiday celebrations in April 2021. As public health orders evolve to allow for more in person gatherings, future birthday and/or holiday celebrations may become pop up events hosted by any and all interested members on an ad hoc basis.
